Our Mission

FSU Live provides Florida State University and the Tallahassee community with professional-grade, 4K-broadcast-quality, LIVE production services for fine arts, academic events, and corporate live streams while empowering students through a hands-on educational pipeline that bridges the gap between the classroom and the media industry.

The Service

FSU Live is a non-profit auxilliary service in the FSU College of Communication & Information formed in 2026. Revenue generated directly supports student experiential learning.

The Director

Paul Dam is the Director of FSU Live and Specialized Faculty at FSU, with over 28 years of high-level, media-industry experience. Paul is the former TV Production Manager for PBS/NPR station WFSU. His career encompasses high-stakes directing and technical directing for major networks in studio, venue, and outside broadcast environments. His comprehensive technical leadership anchors our unwavering commitment to quality.
